 The "Click" training:

Clicked training is recommended by most dog trainers and by me also. The question is, how does these training work? It is actually very simple: If your dalmatian dog does something you want him to do, make a click sound (I recommend you use you fingers.) and feed him/her a doggy treat, and if he/she does something you don't want them to do, do not make any noise and don't feed them a treat. This is just based on obedience training.

What are dalmatian training courses:

Dalmatian training courses are planned to go well with the dog's  character of a companion dog. Dalmatians look for love and fondness but just from the people they have faith in  and they are likely to take some time prior to believing in unfamiliar persons. Just as with every dog breed, character dissimilarity can be observed with Dalmatians,  a few are easier to coach, a few will give you a tough time. Given below are the most general Dalmatian training guidelines that will help you out to train your little spotted friend. Tolerance is essential when teaching a Dalmatian , they are to a certain extent individualistic and you may have to go through a schedule more than a few times before they begin learning.
Even though they grow up from a bodily point of view comparatively quick, they still behave like puppies till they are nearly one and a half to two years old. And in case you are in search of a few good training tips, here they are Dalmatians are full of life dogs, so make certain to present them training practices that engage physical workouts ps.. they adore it. Dalmatian housebreaking training is not very tricky and the dog learns rapidly what is permitted and not permitted in the region of the house.
Chewing up playthings are very important with the Dalmatian. Given that they are in a puppy situation for a longer period than the majority of dogs, you want to make an effort to conform your training techniques to this as well. Begin the training program for your Dalmatian early on or else the puppy will grow into a very individualistic Dalmatian a lot tougher to train. A number of Dalmatians do fine in tracking and obedience tests, but you have to locate the ones with the appropriate traits if you are in view of coaching them professionally.

These training courses are designed to:

I have designed these training courses to fit an unexperienced trainer's lifestyle. These dalmatian training courses are designed so that people don't have to hire professional trainers but rather do it by theirself anywhere, anytime at no what so ever costs. What makes these training courses so special? Dalmatians are one of many dogs that  struggles to be learned, but if they have learned it, they remember it for a lifetime, guarenteed. These training courses will not work on other dog breeds especially bull-dogs. Dalmatians is a one of a kind mannered dog. It takes about 2 days for the dalmatian to accept you as their owner, depends on how much time you spend with them. They are uniquely active dogs and need to get at least a 1 hour (full-time) exercise per day. How does these training courses work? These training courses are a full time job and will take you at least 1 hour per day for 2 days in a row to complete. The training sessions must be schedualed and may not be interrupted at any time, if so, you must start from the beginnig! 3 Things to take notice from:

* Do not yell at your dalmatian, no matter what.

* Don't hurt your dalmatian in any way.

*Be patient, don't get frustrated and give up, otherwise you will have to start all over again!

How to be a trainer: The golden rule of dalmatian training is, Be patient! A dalmatian dog does not like training and usually gets irretated and then leads to a disaster. The dalmatian starts to bark and desperatedly wants to play. This is where the golden rule fits in. Point your finger at him and look very serious. Tell him in a serious but soft voice tone to be calm. Wait for 5 seconds and if he does not respond, repeat. The dalmatian would eventually be calmed down and you can start again, but first award his calmness by feeding him a treat. This helps to let him know that waht he is doing, is right. Follow the same routine everytime you are in a training session, but take notice that you do all these things at the same time, at the same place otherwise he is not going to learn to be calm. At what stage can I move on to the next training course? These training courses are desighned to be learnt to your dalmatian in at least 2 days with a 1 hour daily schedual. It may not work the same period of time on all the dalmatians but it may not deffer more than 1 day. After you have trained your dalmatian with a training course, you might want to wait at least a day until the next training course. Have fun reading trough the training courses and remember to be Patient!

Dalmatian buyer's-guide:

To keep your dalmatian warm in comfort, it is best to use an non-toxic blanket made out of cotton like these demonstrated in the picture.

Always use skin-sensitive shampoo for your dalmatian as their skin is sensitive to harsh soaps and toxic acids.  Se your nearest "vet" for more info.

When it comes to a dalmatian's comfort, there is no better way to use a soft coated bed that is made of cotton. Always make sure that the bed has closed sides.

Make sure you have allot of chewing buzzers available everywhere you go as they need to exercise their gums. See your nearest "vet" for more info.

Be sure to brush your dalmatian 3 times a day to prevent hair from falling out. Make sure to use a brush that is soft coated as it may damage the skin.

A few of the most common dalmatian training tips:

Read through the following to lighten up your knowledge: (Written By Gerhard Grundling)

A few of the most common Dalmatian training tips:

• Patience is important when training a Dalmatian – they are quite independent and you might have to go through a routine several times before they start learning – not because they lack the intelligence, but because they tend to have their own way at first.
• Although they mature from a physical point of view relatively fast, they still act like puppies until they are about one and a half to two years old. And if you are looking for a good Dalmatian training tip , here it is: do not expect maturity from your dog until he reaches 2 years of age, and, even then, don't restrict his playful nature completely.
• Dals are active dogs, so make sure to offer them training routines that involve physical exercise – they love it!
• Dalmatian housebreaking training is not very difficult and the dog learns quickly what is allowed and disallowed around the house.
• Chewing toys are a must with the Dalmatian. Since they are in a puppy state for longer than most dogs, you should also try to adapt your training methods to this. Start the Dalmatian training program early, otherwise the puppy will turn into a very independent adult Dalmatian that will be a lot harder to train.
• Some Dalmatians do well in tracking and obedience trials, but you have to find the ones with the proper personality if you are thinking of training them professionally. The road trial, a sport where the dog accompanies a horse or a horse-drawn coach as an adornment and as protection is also a favorite Dalmatian activity.
• Teaching your dog obedience training commands is not different from other dog breeds, but keep in mind that you are dealing with and active and stubborn breed, and patience and creativity have to be combined if the dog-training program aims to be a success.

Hand signals:

I believe that hand signals offer an excellent visual way of the dog understanding, combined with a verbal command. This way if your dog cannot hear you, but they can still see you, they will know exactly what it is you are asking of them. The commands to use should be simple so as not to confuse your dog.

Last word:

The life expectancy of Dalmatians is 11-13 years. This breed is prone to a few problems such as skin allergies and hip dysplasia. However, their biggest hereditary health issue is deafness. Approximately 10-12 percent of all Dalmatians are born deaf. Therefore, all puppies should be tested at birth, and your dog should be monitored for this condition throughout his whole life. Dalmatians are wonderful and devoted companions and are the perfect pal for the active individual or family.
